How did you do it! Jessica Alba, who gave birth to her second daughter in August, showed off her tiny waist in this new photoshoot, for which she donned Lady Gaga-style shoes with no heels
She's always been seen as a bit of a sex symbol.
But in a new glamorous photoshoot, Jessica Alba says she used to feel shy in dresses and high heels and only started to feel more adventurous sexy since becoming a mother. The 30-year-old showed off her incredibly tiny waist just months after giving birth to her second daughter.
Picture perfect: In an accompanying interview, Jessica said motherhood had made her more in touch with her feminine side
In one pose, for the LA Confidential magazine, the Fantastic Four actress can be seen sitting on a TV, wearing a tiny crop top and a skirt, with yellow Lady Gaga-style shoes with no heels.
Talking about how her fashion choices had changed since becoming a mother, Jessica said: 'I didn’t use to wear a lot of colour. I guess I’ve been more adventurous with my style and clothes choices since I’ve become a mother.
Guilty: The mother-of-two said she constantly felt she should spend more time at home with her girls
'It doesn’t feel as heavy or as big a deal. Before, I was incredibly bashful and shy. When I was younger, I was really uncomfortable in dresses and high heels or anything like that. Over the years, I’ve embraced a more feminine side.
On how motherhood has changed her, she said: 'I feel like I’ve finally come into my own and become the person I always should have been, or that I always wanted to be. I feel more grounded, free and comfortable in my own skin than I ever have. The paradigm just shifted completely to my family.'
She added that she has learned what works well on her body type, after years in showbusiness and dressing for events.

But like any woman, the actress showed she still envied other figures.
'I’ve been doing this since I was 12, going to fittings and all that,' Jessica said.
'So I know what works on my silhouette.
'Fashion is part of the job. There’s a fantasy element. It’s fun to go out and see what everybody’s wearing. Some things really work, and some don’t. And then there are some people, like Kate Moss, who can wear anything... Now it’s just what I’m feeling that day.'

Jessica also spoke about balancing her career and looking after her two girls, Honor, four, and Haven, six months.
'It’s not perfect. I’m constantly feeling I should be spending more time at home. I installed a kids’ corner in the office, and the baby is really easy right now. But every day is evolving and changing. If I’m not going to be home all day, I know I’ll be home at night.'
Jessica looked worlds away from her under-the-weather self yesterday as she sported a bright red nose while heading to a doctor's appointment in Beverly Hills.
She had complained on Twitter about feeling ill days before.
She told her followers how her 'allergies are killing me rt now' and said she was suffering from a 'cold sinus thing'.
