Family outing: Rod Stewart enjoyed a sunny day out in Beverly Hills as he was accompanied by his relatives
He's got his own brood of eight children to take care of him, but rocker Rod Stewart ensures he still takes care of elderly relatives.
The singer was spotted showing his family the sights around Beverly Hills earlier today. He walked along the sunny streets with a female relative's hand in his as they giggled and chatted amongst themselves.
Dressed in his patriotic checked jacket, Rod looked summer chic in beige trousers and a white shirt.
They made it a family outing, with Rod's wife Penny Lancaster in tow as they enjoyed their day in the sunny town.
Penny wore her blonde locks up as she went for a bohemian number in a pink patterned gypsy skirt to the floor with flip flops and a wide-necked top.
And his family member was dressed in a casual beige T-shirt tucked into her black trousers with matching flat shoes.
Fun day out: They made the most of the sunshine by enjoying coffee outside and sharing anecdotes
Stylist: The rocker played dress up as they enjoyed some retail therapy to break the day up
How about these? And he even tried to interest the female members of his family in some floral shoes at Aldo
After tiring of the sun the Stewart clan opted for a spot of shopping as they stepped into a nearby Aldo store.
And 67-year-old Rod was clearly in a jovial mood as he picked up a number of hats and placed them on his male relative's head.
And he must have been taken with the head accessories as he was spotted leaving the shop in a trilby style hat that the famous star had picked out for him.
...But he ensured he still gave attention to his blonde beauty wife Penny Lancaster, who joined him on the family trek
Jovial mood: The rock star looked pleased to have his family in tow during their visit to the sunny city
He was also seen later in the day opting for a red checked flat cap, which he wore with a striped T-shirt and white trousers.
And Rod showed he was a dab hand at shopping, learning from his wife and daughters, as he also picked out a number of girly shoes to show the ladies of his family.
After they'd had enough of their retail therapy, they stepped back into the sunshine, stopping for a coffee.
