Ditching the glamour: Kylie Minogue has a rock chick makeover in a T-shirt and ripped shorts at her Anti-Tour show at Melbourne's Palace Theatre
When Kylie Minogue usually hits the stage, fans know they're in for an assault for colour and glitter in a large production.
But as the Australian marks her 25th year in the music industry, she decided to strip things back for a low-key gig in her hometown of Melbourne.
Instead of her typical flamboyant showgirl-style costumes, the 43-year-old dressed in a simple pair of tiny denim shorts, Marilyn Monroe vest and ankle boots.
Trim: The diminutive singer is looking in good shape at 43
The former Neighbours star was going for a rock chick look as she performed two gigs, dubbed Anti-Tour, at the Palace Theatre.
Die-hard fans of the singer may have recognised her vintage Vivienne Westwood top, which she previously wore in 1994.
While she may have looked less glamorous than usual, her ripped shorts were Dolce & Gabbana and her boots were Giuseppe Zanotti.

With just a four-piece band and three backing singers, Minogue purposely avoided her big hits and belted out B-sides, demos and new from her extensive back catalogue.
Writing on Twitter, she said: '2 Melbourne #AntiTour shows in one night...... #Boom!!! Thank u all!!
'Melbourne late-nighters!! #AntiTour r u ready for midnight?????'

Ahead of the gig, fans had been posting their wish-lists of songs online.
Taking to the stage, she said: 'It's been very difficult choosing the songs. So I hope you hear one of the songs that was on your lists ... which were apparently quite long.'
Minogue only announced the gigs two weeks ago, promising they were only for her 'super-fans'.
Tickets for the first show sold out in just 15 minutes, prompting Minogue to decide on a post-midnight gig later on.
