Wardrobe malfunction: Jenna-Louise Coleman appears to suffer a near-miss at the Titanic 3D world premiere
She may have starred in Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, but it's nothing compared to a world stage.
And tonight Jenna-Louise Coleman was under the microscope at the Titanic 3D premiere.
Everything she once got away with was now scrutinised as she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kate Winslet, James Cameron and Billy Zane - sadly for her, there was no sign of Leonardo DiCaprio.
As the pretty 25-year-old greeted fans on the red carpet outside the Royal Albert Hall in sunny Kensington, London, she appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction as her dress slipped.
Jenna-Louise was spied scrunching her face up as she tried to catch the strapless dress from falling.
Back in the spotlight: Jenna starred in Emmerdale in 2006, but will take centre stage again in Doctor Who
The graceful gown was comprised of a grey floor-length skirt and black bustier, which seemed to sink south as the brunette star managed to clutch it in time before it lowered any further.
Meeting her fans: Jenna is currently starring in ITV1's adaptation of Titanic
The Blackpool-born star has just been unveiled as the new Doctor Who sidekick, taking over from Karen Gillan who played Amy Pond in the BBC series.
Speaking to Radio Times, Jenna-Louise said it was torturous keeping her role a secret from friends.
She reveaeld: 'When you keep a secret this big - I’ve kept this one for six weeks - the temptation to tell is all the more irresistible, especially as I live with three school friends.
Centre of attention: Kate Winslet sailed down the red carpet, but Leonardo DiCaprio was absent
'With girl politics the way they are, I couldn’t tell just one friend. I had to phone one of them on the way to the press conference to tell her that I’d borrowed her shoes, in case she saw them in photos.'
You may also recognise the rising starlet for taking a trip on her own maiden voyage, having been cast in ITV's current Sunday night series Titanic.
