Happy birthday SJP! Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted coming back to her New York home wither her mother and daughters after a celebratory bash today
There were three generations in the city when Sarah Jessica Parker got ready to celebrate her 47th birthday in the Big Apple today.
The actress was spotted with her twin daughters and mother Barbara as they went walkabout in Manhattan.
The foursome were in good cheer after enjoying some girlie time together at a birthday bash. And it seemed to be Sarah's former nursery school teacher mother who was leading the way, taking her granddaughter Marion, who turns three in June, by the hand. Sarah, who is the youngest of four children, followed closely behind, and was looking after Tabitha.
The foursome had just arrived in a cab, and where heading into the actress' home in the posh West Village area.
Sarah has confessed to Elle she is noticing changes due to her advancing years more than ever.
Holding on tight: The careful actress made sure she helped her Tabitha out of the cab
The mother-of-three said: 'I don't know what I can do about the aging. Yes, I am aging.
'Oh my God, I'm aging all the time. It's like those flowers that wilt in front of you in time-lapse films.
'But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?'
And she has also given her blessing to the mantle of her popular Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw being given to a younger actress.
She sent actress AnnaSophia Robb an encouraging letter as she gets ready to play an earlier incarnation of the role in The Carrie Diaries on CW.
Pretty in pink (and blue): Marion and Tabitha wore their own distinctive outfits
