Fresh faced and fabulous: Beyoncé was spotted heading to a private dinner party in New York last night wearing no make-up save for a lick of lip gloss
Beyoncé let her natural beauty shine last night as she stepped out in New York with barely any make-up.
The singer wore just a lick of lip gloss to a private dinner party with guests including her husband Jay-Z, actor Jake Gyllenhaal and Sarah Jessica Parker.
She was dressed in the same outfit she wore while running errands earlier in the day - loose-fitting trousers, a billowing top and $660 Charlotte Olympia 'Cat-Face' flats. It's no surprise she felt confident with her natural look - she had been named the world's most beautiful woman by America's People magazine just hours earlier. Beyoncé told the magazine that since becoming a mother, she now opts for a low-key look.
She now mostly leaves the house wearing 'no make-up, just sunglasses and lip gloss'.

The star also revealed she now cuts her own hair and happily wears flat shoes following the birth of her daughter Blue in January.
She said: 'I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels.
'Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love the, because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too.
She added: '[Jay-Z] loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising - he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural - just he relaxed, natural me.'
She also admitted to taking her hair into her own hands rather than visit an expensive stylist.
She said: 'I recently cut two inches myself - I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!'

The star may have eased up her beauty regime, but the star is more confident than ever.
She reveals: 'I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.'
Beyoncé will get back to work later this year filming A Star Is Born, which is being directed by Clint Eastwood.
