New ride: Harry Styles gets out of his new car at his parents' home in Cheshire, northwest England
He famously paid £15,00 to insure his second-hand Range Rover Sport.
So the price for covering Harry Styles' brand new Audi R8 Coupe was probably through the roof. Especially when he's just turned 18, just passed his driver's test, and the car goes from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds with a a top speed of 196mph.
Not to mention that the vehicle is worth more than £100,000 and he's likely to cover a lot of miles visiting his family in northwest England, and fulfilling his band commitments. The One Direction star showed off his new ride as he arrived home to his parents' house in Cheshire.
He was greeted by dozens of fans who regularly camp outside the property hoping to catch a glimpse of the teenager.

Harry looked suave in the black vehicle, which has grey panels on each side.
He dressed casually for his day off in a beige jacket with sheepskin interior over a white hooded jumper and T-shirt, with black jeans.
He has just returned from Australia and New Zealand with his bandmates for their tour Down Under.
He revealed to Radio 1 yesterday that the boys are planning to have six weeks off to recover from their massive trip, which also included several performances stateside.

Harry's new car is a far cry from the vehicle he sat his driver's test in. In December, he was pictured after passing the test, exiting a red Mini Cooper with an instructor.
In February, it was revealed he had coughed up £15,000 to insure his Range Rover Sport which he'd bought from his stepfather.
A source told The Sun: 'Harry was told by his management that it was his decision if he wanted to buy an expensive motor — but he would have a tough job insuring it. He’s a young man and wanted to spend his money on the car — so he ploughed on. He said if Louis did it, he could too.

'He still got a big surprise when the quotes started coming in. It was a big whack.'
The newspaper phoned around insurance firms asking how much it would cost to insure a Range Rover Sport for someone like Harry — and most said they wouldn’t even do it.
Harry will be relishing spending time with his family after a busy few months. He told Radio 1: 'I’m so tired – it was pretty intense but a lot of fun.

'I have six weeks to chill out now. My favourite places were New York and Sydney – I’d never been to Australia or New Zealand before, so that was sick.'
When asked what he’d been up to since he arrived in the UK on Tuesday night, he said he'd mostly slept on Wednesday.
'I went and picked my sister up from the train station today. And I’m going to pick up my friend from college because he’s got a broken leg.'

Meanwhile, Harry has compiled a list of his dream cougars – but his ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack, 32, didn’t make the grade.
He told The Sun that if he had the pick of anyone in the world, he'd choose Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss and Kate Winslet.
He added:'Sorry – it’s a no on Madonna and Kylie.'
And he also revealed that he likes his girlfriends to wear black lingerie and said: 'I’m not really a pick-up line guy – I don’t know what I do.'
